When it comes to cleaning your hair you need to be using shampoo products that are going to remove any excess oils and also dirt.
Any shampoo should be carefully formulated to help clean your hair but at the same time being gentle enough not to cause any actual damage and certainly not to remove the hair of any essential oils. If you are not cleaning your hair correctly then this can lead to the pores on the scalp becoming clogged which can then reduce or restrict the growth of hair and it can also lead to problems with the scalp.

One of the most popular ingredients that can be found in a shampoo is that of mint as it is known to help energise and stimulate the hair.
Not only does it smell great but mint also has very good antiseptic properties and this is why it is being found in more hair shampoo products. It is quite often the case that mint is combined with other ingredients to help meet the needs of specific hair conditions. Such other ingredients that it is generally combined with includes sage and thyme. Should it be used with jojoba oil then this will create a shampoo that has a very deep cleaning action and will penetrate the layers of the scalp.

One way to help with the dryness and the itching is to have a head massage with a hot oil from time to time and one of the best oils that you can use is that of coconut oil.

If you are experiencing a flaking of the scalp then this condition is referred to as dandruff. In fact it is actually quite normal for the skin to shed itself, but in some cases the shedding of the skin does happen at a more rapid rate than normal.
Normal hair conditions would have the skin replace itself every month or so, but when it comes to dandruff, the skin is renewing itself every few days. This can lead to clumps of skin starting to shed. Dandruff is a very uncomfortable experience as it is associated with a lot of itching on the scalp. As well as this it can also be very embarrassing for the person.

Just as people care for their skin and their bodies, it is also important that the hair is also looked after. This is done using a good selection of organic products in order to help keep the hair hydrated and strong.
There are times when the hair can be subject to a lot of damage from the environment such as during the winter time, when the low humidity takes away any essential oils as does the heat that the hair is exposed to when indoors. It is therefore important that a good hair care regime is in place that helps to care and nourish the hair and also helps to keep the scalp moisturised.
